DON HERMENEGILDO, HIS SON, SOLD THE PROPERTY IN 1890 TO DON PLACIDO ESCUDERO AND HIS WIFE, DO\u00d1A CLAUDIA MARASIGAN, WHO IN 1904 RECONSTRUCTED THIS DAM WITH HARD STONE AND CEMENT MORTAR. THEIR ONLY SON DON ARSENIO AND DO\u00d1A ROSARIO ADAP, HIS WIFE, REBUILT THIS DAM IN 1937 FOR IRRIGATION, AND FOR THE HYDRO-ELECTRIC PLANT, SUPPLYING POWER AND LIGHT TO THE \u201cCOOPERATIVE COCONUT PRODUCTS, INC.\u201d, AND TO \u201cVILLA ESCUDERO\u201d.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":1,"featured_media":167648,"parent":0,"template":"","meta":{"_acf_changed":false},"registry_category":[4433],"level_status":[4424],"labels":[5147,4432,5225,5297,4423,4490,4449],"class_list":["post-163791","historical-sites","type-historical-sites","status-publish","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","registry_category-buildings-structures","level_status-level-ii","labels-5147","labels-buildings-structures","labels-dam","labels-don-placido-escudero-dam","labels-level-ii","labels-quezon","labels-region-iv-a"],"acf":[],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v27.2 -
