NICHOLAS LONEY, FIRST BRITISH VICE-CONSUL AND FIRST FOREIGN MERCHANT IN ILOILO, LANDED AT THIS PORT ON 31 JULY 1856. VISITED BY SIR JOHN BOWRING, GOVERNOR OF HONGKONG, IN 1859.
