ON THIS SITE MAY 18, 1943 WAS ADOPTED THE CONSTITUTION AND BY-LAWS OF THE WOMEN\u2019S AUXILIARY SERVICE LED BY JOSEFA BORROMEO CAPISTRANO WHICH ASSISTED THE TENTH MILITARY DISTRICT UNDER CO. WENDELL W. FERTIC, ARMY OF THE UNITED STATES, IN RESISTING THE JAPANESE INVADERS.
