Calubian is a coastal municipality situated on the northern tip of Leyte Island in Eastern Visayas, facing the Visayan Sea and the neighboring island province of Biliran. Originally established as a parish settlement under Spanish administration, it grew into a prominent agricultural and trading center along Leyte’s northern coastline.
