INTENDENCIA BUILDING
CONSTRUCTION AS CUSTOMHOUSE AUTHORIZED APRIL 3, 1823. BUILDING ERECTED BY THOMAS COSTES WAS DESTROYED BY EARTHQUAKE JUNE 3, 1863. PRESENT BUILDING DESIGNED BY LUIS CESPEDES WAS BUILT 1874-1876 BY LUIS PEREZ SIONJUE.
