FORMER MILITARY CHAPEL

THIS ROOM OF THE CUARTEL DE LA LLINETA, THEN OCCUPIED BY THE 6TH SPANISH INFANTRY (LATER THE 73RD) WAS THE CHAPEL IN WHICH THE THREE PRIESTS,’THE REV. DR. JOSE APOLONIO BURGOS, THE REV. MARIANO GOMEZ AND THE REV. JACINTO ZAMORA WERE CONFINED BEFORE THEIR EXECUTION BY THE GARROTE ON FEBRUARY 17, 1872 FOR SUPPOSED IMPLICATION IN THE MILITARY REVOLT OF CAVITE, JANUARY 20, 1872.
