This pamphlet and guidebook commemorate the Morioines Festival in 1976, as Marinduque gained the title for having one of the most talked-about religious festivals in Asia during Holy Week. Participants known as "Moriones" dress up in colorful costumes and masks to play Roman soldiers and retell the story of Saint Longinus. It was reported that during seven days, all Morions must act appropriately as their characters, devise amusing pranks, and talk in a high falsetto voice, with Saint Longinus standing out and being the gaudiest.
